Lasker Jewelers, an iconic fixture in downtown Rochester, is making a move across the street, taking them about 200 feet east. “Our roots are downtown” Nicole Lasker, president of the company said. “The opportunity to move to the Galleria at University Square came at the perfect time.” Preparations are underway to take over the suite currently occupied by M Gear. “This keeps us at street level and we’re excited to join the other retailers and UMR.”
